These terms and conditions govern your use of our travel planning and booking assistance services. By submitting inquiries, requesting quotes, or executing reservations through Amtrain, you agree to comply with these terms in full.
Amtrain is an independent travel agency assisting clients with international transport and accommodation itineraries, specifically focusing on U.S. rail networks. We search, organize, book, and update travel ticket packages on your behalf as an authorized partner agent. We charge processing and service convenience fees for these planning services.
All service quotes and itineraries compiled by our travel agents list the ticket fare plus our travel agency processing fees. By paying this consolidated total, you consent to our agency fee. Travel agency processing fees are non-refundable as they cover immediate planning resources, coordinate management, and seat reservation desk operations.
When we book tickets on your behalf, we coordinate reservations through B2B distributor APIs (such as Distribusion) or direct travel desks. Your contract for transport services is always made directly with the carrier operator (e.g. Amtrak or associated transport companies) and is subject to their standard operating rules, terms of carriage, and delay/disruption liability caps.
Amtrain is not liable for carrier cancellations, missed connections, mechanical breakdowns, or schedule modifications initiated by transport companies. We will provide full support to assist you with processing refunds or modifications according to the operator's policies, but any final operational liability rests with the carrier.
